Sunday at Winchester Cathedral

9 August 2015 : It is the accumulated wisdom of older people in the Bible that forms the basis for much 'wisdom literature' within its pages - books such as Job, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. The fifth annual 'In celebration of age' service

19 July 2015: The fifth annual 'In celebration of age' service took place in Alton, Hampshire. A congregation of more than 70 people, many of whom do not normally attend church, explored this year's theme 'Living with confidence, Living with faith'. St John's Charity Founders' Day

21 June 2015: Debbie preached at the Founders' Day - the annual commemorative day - of the St John's Charity, Winchester. St John's runs care homes and alms houses in the city and was, arguably, one of if not the first hospital in the country. It has a tradition of chaplaincy going back hundreds of years. Florence Nightingale Commemoration Service

10 May 2015: Dignitaries from across Britain and abroad paid tribute to Florence Nightingale on the nearest Sunday to the anniversary of her birth. About 150 people gathered at St Margaret's Church, East Wellow near Romsey, for the annual service.
